Brief History

The history of the Electrical-Electronic Engineering Department dates back to 1975 when the Bursa Electrical Faculty was founded. In 1982 the Electrical Faculty was structured as the Engineering Faculty comprising Electronic and newly established Mechanical and Textile Engineering Departments by the authority of the Institute of Higher Education. The Electrical-Electronic Engineering Department had its first graduates in 1979 after completing the 4 years Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering program. In 1998, the department began to serve evening class which follows the same curriculum of day class.
